Tentative plans for the auction are as follows:
Some (but not all) of the items in the auction will be items that have been donated to Heritage Trail and 100% of the money received for these items will go Heritage Trail Abate of Illinois Inc. Other items being auctioned off will be items that are being sold by individuals.
For individuals wishing to sell an item:
There will be a $5 consignment fee to sell an item in the auction.
An "item" may be an individual piece or many parts being sold as a "lot" (for example a box of assorted parts all sold for one price)
Items may, or may not, have a reserve. On a reserved item you set the minimum selling price. If the bidding does not meet the reserve price, you will not be required to sell the item however, you will still be charged the $5 consignment fee.
We are trying to restrict the items in this auction to items that are motorcycle related (motorcycles, motorcycle parts, motorcycle memorabilia etc.) However at this time our definition of "motorcycle related" is very loose.......
All sales transactions will be between the buyer and seller only, Heritage Trail Abate of Illinois Inc. does not make any guarantees.....
